I m running v1.0 rc7...

What is this?  Mala v1.0 rc7?  If the games are not showing up in Mala, right click in Mala and choose refresh game list.

If they are showing up, but not running, in the Mala configuration change the Mame window state to normal instead of hidden.  That way you will get a black command window that will show what problem Mame is having with the rom?  Possibly missing files in the rom.

Do the roms run okay when not using Mala and just running Mame from the command line? What version of Mame are you using? If this is Mala you are talking about, I would put Mala in the subject line so that it catches Loadman's attention.

Right click in Mala and choose options.
On the Mame Config Tab:
   Choose the Additional Tab
Change the window state to normal

Do you mean in the "All Games" list or is this a list that you have created? If its a new list that you have created, you will need to right click with the game selected in the "All Games" list and choose "add game to list"

If you mean it doesn't show up in the All Games list, you may need to go to Mala options in the Basics tab under Mame Config and create the XML file.

You should be using the command line version of Mame.  What is the version number of Mame that you are using?

I would definitely modify the original post and add Mala to the subject line so that the guru, loadman, will see this post.

What do you mean create a XML file

Instructions are in the previous post.  Click the create button beside the XML line of the Mame Config->Basics Tab.

Have you already installed Mame?  Are some roms showing up in the All Games list?  If so, do some of them work?

MALA works I can play all the games that are listed, but when I go to the folder that says roms for mame where the other roms are at and I add a rom like street fighter vs capcom then go to the mala list and refresh game list it never appears on the list? Any idea why?

Some games that you mentioned, such as Star Wars Trilogy and MK4, are not playable. You might see if there is a filter option to remove non-playable games.
I have changed my nickname to "Cakemeister". Please do not PM the Buddabing account because I do not check it anymore.

Please read the wiki!

When you say the are none playable is that because of my set up or I need some other program to run these games or are there diffrent versions?

Not successfully emulated yet.  You can lookup games and check the driver status here:

The games show up on that site, does that mean it is available. Also is there a MALA manual or cheat sheet that tells you how to set it up use set up windows, options, and info.

No.  As I mentioned in my last message:

check the driver status

The driver status for those two games says "Preliminary" which means they are not yet working.
