HEy Paige, I love the idea of using standby mode, but i'm wondering how did you do away with the "computer is locked please enter password" login screen when you return from standby??? I have all the normal login screens disabled, but cant seem to get rid of that one.

go to the power options screen (run powercfg.cpl) At the advanced tab, uncheck
"Prompt for password when computer resumes from standby." 
(this works for hibernate also, even though it only denotes standby.)
