Definitely not Jamma. Way too old. If you like it that much, go for it! I see no reason not to.

What emulator would you be using?  I didn't think Space War was in MAME.

Spacewar is not a arcade game, but game developed on a mainframe:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spacewar

The game can do been emulated in MESS yet, but Im personelly not tested that game.

Space War?...or Space Wars...that says Space War on the cab?  If the latter - yes, it's in Mame.

A little before my time.  Didn't see it till probly 80 or 81.  Actually, except for Tempest, I thought vectors were, like, ooold school.

Space War with the mini white Keyboard in the middle to change options like gravity?

Big white machine that Noland Bushnell made with some guy like in 1978?

I thought I have seen that in Mame but couldn't figure out the buttons for options, like in Lunar Lander.

Don't see why you cannot reproduce it, but the cabinet will be big.  Better to just make a large control panel and hook it up to the TV.

I used to own a Vectorbeam Space was just like on KLOV.com. My suggestion is just to buy one, they usually run about $600. You will like it a lot more with the real vector monitor than you would a computer monitor.

I have one that I picked up on a bulk collection day... It is water damaged around the base and missing one side of artwork, but for a free cab you wont here me complain.  I have gotten the main pcb up but the audio pcb is still down..  I hope to start rebuilding the monitor in the next few weeks.. If you do go ahead with the project let me know and Ill get any info you might need...

Search this forum for vectorbeam space war and you should be able to find a series of pictures of me showing how I repaired some serious water damage on the base of one without damaging the artwork.
