so, I'm working on this project, to actuate an AC-powered motor with the Sega Dreamcast's Jump Pak (forcefeedback option device)... and I was wondering: does ANYBODY know what voltage the Dreamcast controller sends to its card slots? Because I have all kinds of optical relays laying around my shop, most of which are 5 vdc logic or 12vdc logic, all 120vac output... so, if it's 5vdc, you'd be making my day by telling me...

I'm just impatient, and haven't had time to go measure it myself.

Dreamcast RULES. And it's a heck of a lot cheaper than a whole computer. Rock on. --Dave

I'm right there with you Dave on how awsome (and easier) a DC inside an arcade cabinet cab be. I only see +5 coming into the controller....so my guess is +5 is the ticket. But should be easy enough to figure out with a multimeter just to be sure.
