The Game Grid gets a marquee
«

I printed and installed my marquee this weekend (along with refinishing my coin doors). I had the marquee printed at Kinkos on 20lb bond paper and then laminated. It turned out pretty well, but i'm not sure how happy i am with the way it looks when lit. The light washes out the colors a bit and it just doesn't have that "real arcade" look to it. I'm considering redoing it on vinyl or some other material that will give off better colors, but this is good for now. Having a lit marquee up top makes a world of difference in the look of the cabinet.

Looks good! Your Emulaxian skin looks matches the theme nicely also. I need to play around with that.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Hopefully i'll be able to post about a matching control panel overlay soon!
Ace - Emulaxian ROCKS! It's such a cool frontend. Just be prepared for some long nights to get it configured how you want it.

Oh yeah, I use it too. It's definitely the coolest front end out there. I meant I need to play around with the skinning options.
