Just wondering if I get to customize my membership status or something. I notice that pretty much all 1000 post people have one...

You're talking about a custom title which only t3h Saint can hand out.

A qyuick and easy way to get one is to get drunk, urinate on a porch and then get banned for drunk posting on the EE forum. Good luck.

Not as many as you might think, which makes it fun. Generally people are too scared to actually ask and are timid when they do. I will say that one prominent member actually got his title when he asked and I relayed the request to saint. But it was a one of those deals where it was an obvious shame that he didn't have one anyway, so I doubt that will happen again.

I was given the chance to change mine, but I liked that it came from saint so I kept it. Plus it's fun when someone breaks down and finally asks.

Nope. All 1000 gets you is the BYOAC Hot pan holder. (or anything on the bottom shelf).

I can't do a search to find it because the search function is broken right now. IIRC, in 2004 offered to compensate anyone voting for John Kerry by kicking them repeatedly in the genitals. It was a running joke and the Chief Kicker title appeared during that thread.
