I am a tard
« on: January 12, 2007, 08:17:55 am »
So I ordered my copy over a week ago and expected delivery this week. I've been checking my porch each day after work to see if my shipment from Amazon arrived. Continued frustration. Then it dawned on me. Amazon shipped it USPS. Hm. I've neglected to check my mail all week. So, trip to my mailbox (have those centrally located trailer park type boxes), there it is. Been sitting there for three days.

Anyhoo. Browsed through it, got part way into chapter 2 last night. The format is very, very nice. I've never read an ExtremeTech book before. I like the style. And Saint's writing is very smooth, easy to read, and enjoyable. I can't believe the entire process of building the cab is in one chapter. I'm looking forward to getting started.
Charlie Brown: I'm still hoping that yesterday will get better.

Building it is the easy part. Planning - now that is where the real time should be spent...

So true. Of course, I wish I would stop spending so much time in that area.
