Has this happened to any one else? After you make a cabinet your wife thinks you are some master carpenter. She got online and ordered more plans. This time it was a Train Bed. I posted it at my Arcade site. It took 2 weeks and I just wanted others to see it. I know it is a bit off topic but I did not think you would mind. You think a cabinet made out of 3/4' MDF is heavy. This bed has 4 SHEETS of the stuff in it. The next time a tornado hit Dallas, TX I'm getting on that bed! Thanks for listening.

Very, very cool.
I always wanted a captains bed when I was a kid...... thats way cooler.

No waking your kid up in a hurry! If he jumps up fast he's going to take his head off! hehe Might wanna invest in foam padding!
Your paint looks a little splotchy. Maybe the camera? Dark colours really need primer on MDF.

We did primer but it will still take 2 coats. We have not finished it yet. There are wheel hubs and connectors to install too. The foam idea is great, we will look into that.

You need a limit switch under the matress to light up the headlight so your kid gets an instant night light when he lays down.
