On my monitor, near the top of the screen I have a few horizontal lines that are pinkish in hue. At first I thought these lines were caused by the ps2 av adapter I got from ultimarc. Now I think they are being generated by the monitor itself. When I tweak vertical hight I can shrink them down a bit, but then I lose the ability to cover the entire monitor with a picture. If anyone could tell me what I need to do to hopefully fix this I'd appreciate it. I've attached a picture showing off the problem. It's a little hard to see (it's not a HUGE problem, but it's annoying).

What's the make/model of monitor? I have a feeling I know the answer already, but I'd like confirmation before I blurt out remedies that won't work on other monitors.

I'm not anywhere near the cab at the moment but I know it's a 25" nanao monitor. I believe it has a toshiba tube in it. As to the exact model number, I'll have to get back to you on that.

Nanao? Well, that blew my theory out of the water.

Unless the Nanao has a 50/60Hz adjustment pot.

the lines you are seeing is where the colour is overdriving,you could try turning down the red background pot or as a quick check turn down the flyback screen volts a fraction to see if the lines go

normally yes but i have had occasions where the red is too high and the others a touch low and the screen volts too high giving these red coloured flyback lines,i do believe this to be just a adjustment issue
