Wanted: Empty Arcade Cabs in omaha
« on: December 02, 2006, 07:03:03 pm »
I'm trying to find a cheap Empty Arcade Cab (upright)... I live in Omaha Nebraska, and this will be the first Arcade cabinet i will have owned (once i find one that is...)

If anyone would happen to have one that they would be willing to sell or know of a place that sells them pretty cheap (I work at Arby's so i don't get paid all that much...) Please let me know

Just send me an E-mail (Yooyenkoo@hotmail.com)

Thank You

I highly suggest building your own cabinet.... you will appreciate your cabinet much more....

If you don't want to build your own try doing a search on E-bay for a cab in your local area. I found a Defender cab 1 1\2 hours drive from my home for $40.00.

I have also built a cab. It takes some time and cost's a little more but I have to say I loved every minute of it, and learned alot in the process.

Nebraska Technical Services (NTS) at about 74th and F, across the street from the impound yard, behind the bar, has a big ol' back room full of empty cabs they'll let you buy.  It'll set you back close to $100 though.  There's supposed to be another joint on 60th(?) and Grover, but I've never been there.

I had good luck a few years ago and found a cocktail cab at New Life Thrift on 36th and Harrison for $40.

Good luck.

The place on 60th and Grover is called Greater American Distributing.  They have nothing, don't waste your time going there.  They are not bad if you need a game repaired, but they have nothing for sale there.

NTS is your best bet, i also got my empty cab there.  He's right though, it'll set you back about 100.00.  They've got alot of games for sale there too.  Some are outrageously high, others are reasonable.
