Its possible that not you personally got banned, but your ISP or IP range, as you indicated above.
Lets say you are with Compuserve (remember them?) and you spammed a bunch of kids to buy Frosted Flakes instead of Rice Krispies.
The op or mod can then ban you for being a cereal pest, but since you might be on a dynamic addressing system - the op or mod just banned the whole range, offing you and some poor other peeps into the bargain.
Hey the ops or mods don't really care, as it is one less to worry about, and I bet you didn't click on any of their adverts..... And the funny thing is they don't want you back.
Thats my suggestion of the day. Proxy server? No I don't think so.
So change ISPs you name, avitar, address, etc. and keep quiet about breakfast.
