Undercutting the glass?
« on: December 05, 2006, 12:22:26 am »
I ordered my UAII kit today, and Scott told me I should have the glass undercut. I guess 25x27 is the size. I've been assuming 1/4 glass this whole time, but I'm wondering if that's too thick. Anyway... anybody know how much to undercut so that it goes in easy?

BTW- How do you mount the glass? I'm going to order graylite 14.

Thanks,
RubberP

Someone down the road may need to know, so I thought I'd post what I found out. Scott at mameroom said that a 32nd on each side was enough to ensure a good fit. I'm going to assume the kit will be square, but this allows for slight "offness" with the cabinet.

BTW- i got the Graylite 14 for $56.58 including tax.
