Problem with crystal trackball and spinner
« on: April 03, 2002, 05:13:34 pm »
On my cab I have a crystal trackball and an Oscar spinner. Both of them will move the cursor around in windows but neither will work in Mame. The trackball is connected  with the ps2 plug it came with, should I have cut off the plug and wired it directly to the optipac? I assume I have something wired wrong but I can't figure out what. Thanks.

By default, MAME does not enable the mouse input, which is most likely your problem.

If you are using the command line version, edit either the mame.ini or mame.cfg file to enable mouse support.

If you're using MAME32, open the Default Options dialog box, and the check the box "Enable Mouse" under the Controllers tab.
