WG 9200 - Which video card is best
« on: March 25, 2003, 02:55:12 am »
Have read everything on earth (I think) and decided to buy one of these monitors.  Question is what video card best supports the 15.75, 25, and 31.5 modes.  I have a 32 MB geforce 256 in a computer I was going to use for my MAME cab and was thinking of changing to a G400 if that would work better for this.  Is this the best card to support the various modes of the 9200 and also still work OK with win XP.  Is the newer version of this card ie G450/G550 just as good.  I was thinking of arcadeVGA but I don't think that is a good choice for a monitor that supports more than 15.75.  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I would love to know the answer too, as I to have the Wg D9200 monitor.

IT's ben mentioned that Andy is planning on updating his ArcadeVGA card to support monitors such as the WD D9200, but I do not know when he intends to release the update. I assume we can buy the current ArcadeVGA video card, and update the software bios in the future once Andy updates the card.

Maybe Andy can give us an insite one how he intends to update hiArcadeVGA card (if he plans on doing it),

Kind Regards,

Dariusz
