WTB: WTT Trackball mounting plate
« on: November 02, 2006, 10:36:54 am »
I recently scored a box of old trackballs and am hoping to patch a couple together and get em working. I'll need some mounting kits to use em on a wood control panel.  Anyone have a few sitting around doing nothing?

Let me know!
Thanks

*BUMP*

Tested these and have 4 out of 7 working.

Could really use a small happs style mounting plate so I can get one of em mounted into my CP.

Anyone need any trackball parts? I've got a few spares here. :)

I didn't want to chop up an old Centepede CP to mount this thing.
BUT I WILL IF I HAVE TOO!

Consider this a friendly bump...

Realizing that you're probably kidding, if you're going to put in that kind of effort, sell the Centipede CP, go down to Lowes or Home Depot and pick up a small piece of sheet metal to make them out of.  You'll likely come out ahead money-wise.

Here is the Divemaster guy I was looking for a few days ago. (You didn't show up in the search without the #127 tacked onto your name)

Actually got an order request in with Ponyboy already so I'll see what develops there. Thanks for the response though, I'll keep you on tap for the next one.

I'd have to modify a stock plate to accomadate the tight quarters of my CP so was hoping to pick up a used/damaged one. Nothing serious, just hacking off a corner about 1 1/2 inches and redrilling the mounting hole.

So making one from scratch wouldn't be so bad but I'd like to ensure a nice tight fiting 2 1/4 in hole, and I'm not 100% sure I can do that with a hole saw.
