You can check out the latest LCDTest to see the basic idea in action, but like I said as an actual plugin there may be a problem with the FE pausing while the action is being spoken without the Async flag (not sure if you encountered these problems with your Speech plugin for Mala). If you need any help just shoot me off an e-mail and I'll do what I can.

Unfortunately the LEDWiz DLL I'm using dosn't have built in ramping, but it wouldn't be to hard to code manually.

It is a cool idea though :)

adding speech to the plug-in (0r anything) is very easy ....and I like the ideas being put forward....    ;D

rockin_rick seems thinks the way I do.  Nice Brainstorm action   ;)

They seem practical and fun....  Just like me  :laugh2:

Thanks Guys..  I will check out Headkaze tip to implement effectively

Just thinking out loud
* I will use the built in flash/ramp function in the ledwiz as that way there is less code involved and the flash/ramp rate will be user set by the ledwiz GPS

I will submit an application to the wife to get some quality coding time soon to work on this.

But I think this is going to happen.    The ideas are too cool to ignore.

Good luck getting that application approved  :laugh2:

This is going to be great.  I won't have to use PowerMAME anymore which I really like but at least it will still live on in MaLa.  Maybe you could try to contact Mike to see if he can help out and give you some suggestions?  I wish the site was still up so you could see some of the other cool things PM could do.

but have no illusions...  :P

MaLa can leave the Leds on during a game (it does that already) but it won't/can't do anything really interactive once a game is loaded like power mame can

What we are contemplating here is the plug-ng getting the Leds to flash with Voice just before the game launches...  Cool? 8)

as long as it will tell me what buttons do what I will be happy.  I am happy you guys are trying to do this, I have no programing skills at all.  I am sure it will only get better with time.

Thanks
