Mala - Games showing up/Games not showing up

I have a 106 rom set. I used MCM to delete all the porn and mahjong roms. I then created the mame.xml file, then set up MALA 1.0 RC8. My game list still seems to have mahjong games in it, even though I don't have the roms. And other games that I DO have such as "Off Road" don't show up in MALA. Is my problem in my mame.xml file or did I mess up MALA somehow? No matter how many times I reconfigure it, it never seems right. Thanks for any help!

make sure that you have the correct file extensions listed for mala to search for in your roms directory. Also, if you deleted the porn, etc, you should be able to load the rom, therefore I would check subfolders in the directory or other possible rom directories that may have gotten set up in mala by mistake.

I think that did it...not sure how I missed that option!
