1957 Rock-ola 1455 Skin with mech sound effects
« on: October 13, 2006, 09:45:42 pm »
Just for anyone who isn't sure,you need to
download the file then unzip it and then copy the 3 files into your skin folder
Then edit the jukebox.ini file in wincab so the skin line reads

Skin = Rock-ola

Skin based on a real jukebox and includes sound effects of the mechanism
selecting the record and then playing it.

Download the zip file here.

I'm gonna have to use this one as an example when I get animations working!  I need to see if I can find a video of this in operation to create the animations...

Added some more sound effects for the selection buttons.

To install,Copy the wav sound files in the Buttons Zip to the SKINS folder of Wincab.

Then open the rock-ola.skn with

notepad and add the following text to the

[Sounds] section:

BTN_A=but2.wav
BTN_B=but2.wav
BTN_C=but2.wav
BTN_D=but2.wav
BTN_1=but2.wav
BTN_2=but2.wav
BTN_3=but2.wav
BTN_4=but2.wav
BTN_SELECT=but4.wav
BTN_CLEARQUEUE=but4.wav
BTN_GUI_SELECT=but4.wav
BTN_RADIO=but3.wav
BTN_RANDOM=but.wav
BTN_SKIPLAST=but3.wav
BTN_SKIP=but3.wav
BTN_POPULAR=but.wav

You also need to change the following line in the "VolumeControl Section" of the Jukebox.ini file.

SoundEffectsVolumeWhenPlaying=0

Change to

SoundEffectsVolumeWhenPlaying=65
