Get a $60 Ryobi Router

do a search here on the Project Announcements for threads by Knievel or Timoe and you should see some good pictures to illustrate the process.

k so i ordered the router 25 bux..... yay for being a cheap skate..... ive never made a cp this thick before mine are usually thin materials lol

anyways my other question is with plexi the overlay shouldnt get damaged by sitting over a recess should it?

if you only route out the depth of the joystick mounts, then it shouldnt be sitting in a recess  ;)

Just a thought, but if you're going to route something out anyway, why not route from the bottom so the wood where you are mounting is the same thickness as the other CP's you've built?  You can take it from there.  That way when your routing job isn't super pretty and straight nobody sees it.
