Where do I buy the horizontal adjustment tool for WG monitor's ?

HI, on the Wg monitors that I find in cabinets from the late 80's, the horizontal size adjustment is located on the chassis in a horrible spot.  I need the tool that goes inside the coil to adjust the size of the screen.  I TRIED USING METAL HEX or ALEN wrenches and boy do they get HOT fast, don't try this at home!  Does anyone know the name of the part I'm looking for and where to buy it?  Thanks for your time.  GAME ON

I got a simple set of 3 adjustment tools from Radio Shack.  Even though Radio Shack sucks something fierce these days,  they DID have the tool set and in stock too.

Ditto....  Radio Shack usually has a simple set of adjustment tools in a pack that works on most any adjustment you may need. I believe they called it a television adjusting tool set or something. I've had mine for years now.

And as a note: NEVER use metal tools in those coils with the slug in them.
They are very brittle and tend to break very easy with the metal tools.
(aside from getting hot and possibly creating shorts)

The exact tool you need is a plastic television alignment tool made by GC Electronics. It's their cat. # 8606-L (barcode 010151141347). Most GC Electronics parts distributors stock this so check your local electronics parts jobbers (in the Yellow Pages under "Electronic Equipment & Supplies"). This tool is a whopping 11 inches long! It is plenty long for reaching the width coil while the monitor is on and your hand will be away from the high voltage wire too.

If you just want the standard length alignment tools, Radio Shack # 64-2220 or 64-2230 will work.
