  • I want my own arcade controls!
 ???
I just bought an MK2 pcb and sound board with cables. The first time i hooked it up, it ran fine with sound. I went into dipswitches and turned the volume all the way down(because i was'nt finished wiring the buttons on the kick harness. I wired the buttons and everything worked fine. i turned it off and took the JAMMA HARNESS off and put it on my MK1 board(to see if the kick harness worked for mk1 also, and it did,and had sound), So then i switched it back to mk2 and turned the sound back up in the dipswitches, and there was no sound, nor in gameplay. I ran the sound test and it made a ping noise 1 time, indicating that the sound board comes up fine.  Also all the ROMs come up as green indicating everything is fine.Does anyone know how i can get my sound back or what might be causing it?..

please help me if you know, thanks

Since it was ok before you lowered the volume with the dip switch, try working the dip switch back and forth a few times.  Maybe a bit of corrosion on it that might be inhibiting the sound.

Just a thought,
