Need a spinner...sort-of soon:)
« on: July 24, 2006, 12:01:26 pm »

Hey all!

I'm going to have three cabinets delivered soon, which will make me have a total of
five.

So, I want to make a spinner cabinet for games like Cameltry, Arkanoid and Puzz
Loop.

As I can see, this would fit me best: Oscar Vortex Spinner. it LOOKS like the
distance between the screw holes are perfect..

I'f I want to build a MAME PC cabinet, what do I need? The spinner, and what
interface? anything else?

I just had a thought, why not just a tball instead of a spinner!?

Thanks!

Nicholas

GroovyGameGear has a new TurboTwist Spinner.

http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=268

You can also hook up three buttons and a Trackball I believe without the need for a keyboard encoder.  Take a look.

There are only a limited amount of options for spinners

1) Get some sort of original spinner and use an encoder to interface it to the PC (Optipac, Optiwiz)

2) SlikStik Tornado... USB read, no need for encoder

3) GGG TurboTwist... also no need for encoder

4) Apache Push/Pull spinner.... again, no need for an encoder.
first off your and idiot

Man I love the internet, haha.
