Issues with dual topgun lightguns...please help

Sorry..got a page cannot be displayed when first posting....

I am having a heck of a time getting both guns working at the same time...

I have tried smogs drivers as well as winguns...

I am able to get one gun working with no problems, it seems that the other will not get up and running.  I was able to get both working for a brief time using smogs drivers, but after a reboot, I had only one gun working, and the other doesn't act like a mouse anymore.  I then tried removing all drivers and starting again.  Everything worked fine, rebooted and now both guns are again working as mice, but I cannot get gun2 to change the default trigger, and it always duplicates everything that gun 1 does...(meaning playing hotd2 both guns move player 1's cursur around, and can shoot from the 1st gun only)

so tried wingun..

In wingun, detect finds both guns, but is unable to run through the software calibration on teh 2nd.  I can go into info and see that it is getting input as I press buttons, but it does not work in windows as a mouse.  It also seems that the control panel in wingun keeps going back to gun 1 even though I click gun2 (any try to calibrate)-  The origional install hung on waiting on gun2

I have tried both a usb hub, as well as pluggin everything into the motherboard.

I seem to have the best luck with smogs drivers and software, but it seems that everything breaks on reboot.  I would rather not keep this box running as we use it for parties once every month or so.

Notes:  I have been through both config sites with a fine tooth comb and still cannot get this thing working.

anyone have any ideas?  I appreciate any suggestions as I am at the end of my rope with this one.
