New pop machine addition. help with free play circut
« on: June 13, 2006, 06:46:54 am »
So these things are friggin HEAVY!!! I was messing around with the coin/credit circut last night and ended up melting the harness for the coin acceptor. (relays are still cool.) All is well.

This one can do cans or 20oz bottles. From looking at this diagram I took a picture of from inside the door can anyone help me out with which pins to jump across to get it stuck on vend? I already tried pin 1 -> 3 along with a few other variations.

thx

Where is that "vend switch" actually located?
I see that it is part of the coin mech, but something would have to "add" the coins together to get the proper purchase price right?
Or is that a service "vend" switch only if the door is open?
(I'm just curious, don't know much about these)

And also:
Since that particular switch is utilizing both the NO and NC, I would assume that if you jumpered pins 1 --> 3 then pin 7 would have to be removed. They shouldn't both try to work at the same time.

I know I've read about some of these vending machines that you should be able to get into a "service mode" with some sort of button sequence code or something.
Then change the pricing, etc. Not sure if this applys to yours though.
Not a technician . . . . just a DIY'er.
