Games minimizing to tray

Anyone know why some of my games minimize when they are opened and the only way to get into them is to alt+tab.  Kinda sucks having to have a keyboard out.  Any help would be greatly appriciated Thanks

have you removed alt, shift, and cntrl from your buttons? also, i've seen spyware cause a window to minimize or lose focus

i too have been having that problem, i use mamewah and when i load up some games then will minimize to the tray and the screen will be black

That is exactly the problem I am having.  the screen goes black and if you alt+tab it will go back into the game but thats the only way.

are you all using a shortcut to the frontend to start the games?  I found something at http://aroundcny.com/Technofile/texts/tec082601.html that says theres an option under the properties to start a program minimized, not sure if this is the same issue.  Didn't see anything else immediately in my search.

Have you tried playing around with the dosbox and safelaunch options?
