Monitor / Repair - Chicago Area
« on: May 16, 2006, 11:14:29 am »
Anyone in the Chicago area that works on monitiors??  I have a Galaxian monitor that has 2 issues going, convergence and color purity.  I would try it myself, but the test switch / coin switch is missing from the game.  Or is someone familair with Galaxian and could tell me how to hook up a new test switch / coin switch.

Early production run Galaxian games did NOT have a test switch. Midway issued a service bulletin on how to wire & install one. All the later production run already had it factory installed just like on a Pacman.

So I have an early model game then?  I'll look for the service bulletin, unless someone has it.  Thanks for the info.

Galaxian also used something like 6 different makes/models of monitors during the production run. A select few came with 25" monitors!!!!!
