D9200 Revived!
« on: May 15, 2006, 04:33:51 pm »
Hello Guys,

I had a D9200 which went down on me even though I had used it once (THread somewhere else on this forum) ! Now since that mistake cost me EUR 150(!!!) I am going to make DAMN sure that that won't happen to me twice and ask for your advise. I need your help with this.

I have a PC with ArcadeVGA which is correctly installed for the D9200 (I dl'ed the tri-sync utility from www.ultimarc.com) and windows starts up really smoothly. The problem occurs when I try to change the resolution or when I start ANY application. The only applications on there are emulators. I have checked whether any of the resolutions are above 640 * 480 and they are not. Yet somehow, the D9200 doesn't accept the frequency and fires up anew. The PC somehow starts up again as well even though this is strange, right? It is like a reset of some sort because it reboots as if it were a soft reboot. Does the monitor give out a signal that the PC uses as reboot?

I short what do I need to do exactlto make sure that Windows starts up in 640*480 (even the bootup screen!) and to make sure that I won't fry the screen again?Huh I won't do another thing until I know exactly!

Thanks a lot!
