Auxiliary Harness Ground?

Does anybody know if the buttons on an auxiliary harness have to use the ground on the auxiliary connector or if you can use the ground in the JAMMA harness and it still completes the circuit?

Nevermind.  Searched with "Kick" harness and answered question.
