Author Topic: Dremel on sale at Radio Shack (Read 2221 times)

Radio Shack stores are clearing out the Dremel 32-Piece 2-Speed MultiPro Kit for $20 and it includes 32 differents bits in the storage case. I heard they're still marked as $50 in store, but they'll price match to what the website says when you go in, which is odd since its an in-store only deal. I'm going to head to radio shack tommorrow and pick one up since I don't have a dremel and I can't have too many tools

I saw this on Slickdeals also. Hopefully one of my local stores will still have one when I get home tomorrow. I can always use a spare Dremel

I went to 3 different Radio Shacks and all were sold out except the last one, which only had one left.

I just went to the only one near me where it said "in stock" online. When we got there, a guy was checking out. Guess what he had the last of.

Thanks, I got one at one of the Radio Shack stores near me. Last one at the store I got it, the other store didn't list on the site with the stores that had it in stock, so i didn't check there. Anyone know what these are normally? Edit: NVM, you pretty much said it is normally $50. Thanks again.

Got one on the way.

The manager at my friendly neighborhood Shack called a bunch of stores, tracked one down, and is having it sent to their store in the next few days. Since I live literally a minute from that location, that's pretty handy!

FYI if you can get the radio shack guy to say they ahve them in stock, LOWES will price match a sale price..

The reason that manager went through so much trouble is because I'm pretty sure radioshack employees are paid on comission

It used to be hourly or commission, but that was when I was working there oh, ten years back. It may have been spiffed tho, as it is a clearance item...

...and hey, if they want to get me what I want and in doing so earn a couple bucks, more power to them!

It's much more likely that he just really wanted to help out. Commission on $19 isn't exactly something to write home about.

Definitely thanx for this! The site said that all the RS's in my area had them in stock.. But I had to go to a couple of different ones to find it..

The second store I went to on Friday had two left.
The price marked on the box was $49.95.

Ya, their website doesn't seem to get updated often. As I mentioned earlier I went to 3 radio shacks and only the last store had one, but the website said they all had it in stock.

Man I wish the stores near me had stock that lasted that long. I went to a few last weekend and they were all gone. I'd have to take a 30+ min ride to get to one that said In Stock on the site.... didn't figure it was worth it since I have 2 Dremels already.

Oh well. I'm glad a bunch of you guys got them though.

Picked one up myself. I dropped by my local store with the sheet printed from their website. They checked the number and didn't have any, but said that the one in the mall had 3. So I head up to the mall and do the same thing. Hand them the paper and the guy says they show having 2. Walked in the back of the store and I got the last one on the shelf. Either they were going fast, or their inventory isn't real time.
