Great post Kremmit!   That's exactly what I have been trying to push about just making us aware when the develop games.  Then my site/store would just list games that we know work.

You are pretty correct RayB. English isn't my first language.
I'm just wondering how else should I read this.

I said that because that was your very first post. It happens alot in these forums that a new user will appear, pimp something they are selling, and then never come back ever again.  ;D

So my comment was ... half serious, half joking.

Pardon me if it has already been done, but I always thought it would be a worthwhile venture to build a decent 2d fighter engine along the lines of SF2 or MK and sell it for around 10 bucks.  Then put out an ever-growing line of themed fighter bundles for a couple bucks each.  Imagine US presidents being able to battle one another, or legendary rock stars.  The possibilities are endless.

Perfect example Kremmit.  Tell me that wouldn't get interest from the members of this community.  In retrospect, my two examples may have been a little unreasonable because you'd have to deal with legalities of dealing with legitimate figures.  But a little creativity in altering some names to protect the innocent could easily deal with that.

not to be a killjoy or anything but it's already been done:

if you make sure your models are compatible with mugen's you'll increase your chances of selling it for anything more than paypal fees.

I wouldn't say that just yet.  You haven't apologized for your recent forgetfulness.  You may realize you NEED to be a fighter when she's kicking your ass all over the trailer park!  :laugh2:

in ways that you later wish you hadn’t

Well our database is close to 30 registered developers now.  Hopefully we'll start seeing some games soon and get the store opened up.

And hopefully there will be some fun and original games for everyone :).

Id pay 10 to 15 for a real good game that took tempest to the next level.

I would also slap down some cash for some politically motivated games with good game play. Example: Pac man but with pac man being a taxpayer and the ghosts are tax collectors. Sinistar with Osama's face in place of sinistar.
They treated me like an animal and that's what I became.
