New AstroCity Marquee
« on: April 01, 2006, 07:44:51 pm »
I just got a New Astrocity Cab and the Marquee was broken in shipping. It is the plexi that reads "Flat Square 29". Does anyone know where I might be able to get one? The part number and description are:

CQN-1104 Billboard Upper

Anyone know of an importer or anyone who might be able to source this part for me?

Or does anyone want to sell me theirs?

Thanks.

That is going to be incredibly difficult to find.  You will probably have to special order from someone who knows a supplier in Japan.  Otherwise, you could keep an eye out on Yahoo Japan's arcade hardware section.

Thanks, I figured it was going to be hard to find. If I knew someone who had one I would get them to scan it and have it printed on a sticker, like auto graphics and put it on a piece of plexi. I REALLY hate to do something like this but if it turns out to be as hard to find as I think it might be, this might be my only choice.

Do you mind if I ask who you bought the cab from? I'm kinda in the market for one right now myself.

I got the cab from Matsu ( gamemachine2003@hotmail.com ) .I recommend sending him an email and asking what he has in stock. He is a great person to deal with.

Could someone else that owns a New Astrocity scan this plexi for me,even if it has to be scanned in 2 parts. I am am going to try to have it printed on a sticker at an auto-graphics place and put it on some clear plexi. I hate to do this but this part seems impossible to find. Does this sound like a good idea? Does anyone else understand what I'm talking about doing? Am I crazy or does this seem like it might work for a temporary fix?

If this is so hard to find, why not scan yours, fix it in Photoshop, and then send the file out to the guys at Mamemarquees to print it up?
