.....bump......

The CD drive would make a great spare drive for a Mame cabinet!

I thought about buying the video card, but I'm pretty sure that's what I already have onboard my cabinet's mobo. I'm looking to add cheapie outboard video so that Need For Speed Underground runs a bit better. But this looks like a lateral move.

No problems running MAME with that card though.

I'm not very familier with AdvanceMame, but I can tell you that the card is about 5 years old and was pulled working from a Sony Viao desktop.  I upgraded becuase I needed better 3d abilities for Simpsons Hit 'n' Run.  My impression was that the only difference between the those two versions of Mame was how they handled different types of controllers.  I didn't think the video handling is different, is it? (EDIT: Sorry, just read the description of AdvanceMAME and it does have extensive Video upgrades.  I have no idea how this card would work with AdvanceMAME.) I didn't have problems running Mame with it, except for some of the newest processor heavy games, but I think that's more of a processor speed issue.

Let me know if you're interested.

No, add shipping to that.  Shipping probably wouldn't be much, it's really light. If you're interested, I'll weigh it at the post office.
