I had to cut the material out for the leaf switches. Since the fit would be really close if they were set straight, I angled the cut out at 45 degrees. It took me a minute to draw it all up, but well worth it:

I next turned the underlay over and routed out the joysticks and the spinner areas. I first set the depth of the router to match the joystick:
