Smash TV Controls
« on: April 13, 2002, 06:33:28 pm »
I'm trying to setup my cabinet controls for Smash TV and I'm having a hard time assigning the correct keys. I'm using the default mame key setup for my controls. What do people have the keys for Smash TV as? What does Right/Right or Left/Left mean? Thank you for all your help.

Smash TV needs 2 joystcik control like robotron or crazy climber. I think it would be hard to use keyboard for it. Right/Right means that the control on the right side goes right. Left/Right means that the controls on the left goes right...etc...

No idea.
Right Stick moved Right
Left Stick moved Left

Smash TV used 2 joysticks per player.

like robotron, one joystick was used to move around, the other was which direction to shoot.  took a little skill to cordinate that.  kinda like ikari warriors rotating joysticks too.

Thanks for all your help. With your advice I got Smash TV working. Man, I forgot how fun that game was. My cabinet is finished, so I'm gonna put up a site soon. Thanks again.

If you liked smash TV check out total carnage. Exactly the same only more so. And it uses the same controls as smash TV (two joysticks per player).

"all we are making is baby milk!"

When this game was released in the arcades it was intended as a quarter muncher - it didn't matter HOW good you were. One of the few games I think is truly more enjoyable under emulation, and it's damn near impossible without 2 joysticks
