Name this Game (Qix-Style Game)
« on: February 02, 2006, 05:32:36 pm »
Hi All,

I am searching for a game. The game-play is very similar to 'Qix' - in other words, you also need to fill in a certain percentage of the screen. However, the game had background images (similar to 'Gal's Panic') but if I remember correctly, they were real-world type images (like Tutankhamen, and other bitmaps, and not scantily clad women like Gal's Panic).

So, to all the game-playing pro's out there, do any of you have any idea what this Qix-style game is called?

(I have spent a lot of time searching on KLOV, but haven't been able to locate it yet).

Thanks
Olaf

Super Qix and Twin Qix both have backgrounds.

Super Qix and Twin Qix both have backgrounds.

Hmmm, I'm not quite sure. Whilst the 'Twin Qix' screenshots seem familiar, the game was definately not a '2-player simultaneous' game, and I played it long before 1995. However, the graphics in 'Super Qix' don't seem familiar.

So I just fired up MAME and took a look at both, and they both don't seem to be quite it. Are the any more Qix-clones out there?

Regards
Olaf
