Arcadeshop website and browsers ?
« on: November 16, 2005, 12:19:26 pm »
For some strange reason I can not access arcadeshops website anymore. Does anyone know what the cause of this could be. I have tried in both IE and firefox. I type in the site wait a second and nothing. It just says done in the status bar.

For starters, just to make sure we are on the same page, the correct URL is http://www.arcadeshop.com/ and it works fine for me as I am typing this.

Are you trying to access the site from work or home? If from work, your network administrator may have blocked the site.

If you are at home, can you access it through the IP address http://69.36.163.232/ ? If so, then you are having DNS issues. Also, do all the standard things, i.e. scan for viruses/trojans/spyware...make sure all your scanning programs have up to date definitions. Check your HOST file for any unusual entries as well.

I assume this is the only site you are having problems accessing?

Hey, thanks.. I found out from that link that Hantarex make 10" monitors. Pricey but at least they exist.
Now in a tasty new flavour.

Forgot about this post . Still can't access the site and yes this is the only site I can't get to.Tried both ways. It's really weird. It works at my Father in-laws house just not mine. Everything is up to date. I will just call them when I  need to order something from them again.  ???

No just found out it's something wrong with just my computer. I had fix my sister and tried it for that one with my internet connection. And guess what it works. I guess it is time for a fresh windows install.
