GameCab yoke--how is it?
« on: September 29, 2005, 12:30:47 am »
I waited too long to purchase one of the first 10 units made...any feedback yet from those who managed to get one?

I've don't have any feedback for you, but it appears you are almost out of time to order them.

Unless someone can correct me, If GameCab doesn't receive the minimum number of orders by Oct. 15 there will not be another production run.

I'm actually pretty surprised.  Everyone always talks about yokes and wanting them and supporting GameCab making them, but when it's time to put your money where your mouth is ....

If what I say is actually true, I doubt we will ever see another yoke of that quality if at all.

Guys,

The Yokes are safe.  I didn't meet the quota but will still continute to produce the units in smaller production runs (10-15 units).  The new units should be ready around Mid to Late November.
The First 10 units have not shipped yet but are due to move this weekend.  I'm looking forward to the reviews.

Thanks
Charlie
The Flight Yoke Release date is September 10, 2005.

How far does it extend into the control panel? My only issue is that I'm not sure I have enough clearance.

I'm guessing not but do GameCab make (or plan to make) an angled base pre-made for mounting the yoke to a flat control panel?  That would make creting a yoke panel even easier...

What's the status on these?  Is Gamecab still selling/shipping?  I had a friend that ordered from him a month ago, yet never sent him the goods. (He did receive a refund and a promise of a free LED board, but that hasn't showed up either)  What's going on?
