HEY..WAH !..found another joystick.

I build this one LONG time ago for a friend(school) and a I figure posting a pic would be cool..there are about 5 more that i never took pictures because :-\didnt have any camera.

Question&comment(LOL..not expecting any though because it looks funny ) are welcome .

well yeah..

i got the 24x12 laminated stuff from home depot for $4 and didnt feel like cutting it(only had a handsaw at the time) so its big..besides i did the work and the friend paid for parts..how many friends do you have that "BUILDS" a joystick for FREE !..

I have no friends... Well except the ones I pay to be nice to me...

You could have gotten 2 players into a panel that wide. Does your friend have big hands? Thats quite a spread on the buttons.

I'm not laughing at you I'm just laughing in your general direction.   It looks good for building it without any real tools. How did you have the buttons mapped? I only see one admin button.

He asked for comments, I replied with comments. I wasn't beating him down. I wasn't calling him names. I didn't even tell him that you would have to be Big foot to have a hand big enough to spread on those buttons.

I can't tell the diff in that picture, it could be USB. Thats why I was asking for clarification. Snake has obviously learned a few things since building that controller. Probably one of those things is to not post pictures of old work.  

Your right I am insanely jealous of all the credit Snaaack is getting and wish that I had thought up the big control panel first. Actually I did do it first. I'll post pictures later of the one player control panel that I built 6 years ago that was 48"s wide. All I had was a half sheet of plywood to work with so thats what I used.... Yeah thats it... Pictures to be posted later.... Much later....

Not really ...first one looked just like the one(exact same angle cut with plexi) i have now minus no artwork.I care less when Its not for me to keep or no one is paying me to do the work.c'mon i did this free and dont expect me to cut it in size(you are REALLY having problem with this being big),drill plexi,make artwork and all the other new stuff that we do now a day.BIGGER IS ALWAYS BETTER .
I honestly would up ANY pictures I had but too bad .

Would have been nice to use up the rest of that space though.. maybe put like an inch and a half between each button?

Pictures a little fuzzy plus I've never seen a dreamcast plug. I've never played a dreamcast. Its a dead system that never got popular.

Still looks like it could be a USB plug. How does that make me look like a fool? I don't know what every plug to every dead video system looks like.

I bet you can't tell me what the plug looks like on a Odyssey2.
