It is Mame-powered. I built this game for about $30, the cost of the Keywiz eco plus a couple packages of screws.

I have another cabinet just like it, which I may install a Jamma board into just to sell. But for this, I wanted to keep it cheap. It's not really something I would ever play, I just thought the kids would like it, so I was doing it on the cheap.

I agree, the gold molding is too much, it (and the coin doors) were pre-installed on both of the mini cabs I got in a haul-off. I want to change it to black molding, but it hasn't exactly been a priority (again, doing it on the cheap). Also, I'm tentatively planning to install full sideart, and to trim that I will need to have the molding off. So I will probably switch to black at that time.

Thanks for the comments guys! So far the mini is a hit, we'll see how it holds up after a few more gatherings. I don't know if it was played more because it was "kid size" or just because it was a new game.
