What kind of cabinet are you planning to build???
Upright?, Cocktail?, 2p?, 4p? Are you rolling your own plans or using existing?

Its going to be 2P upright, based on LuSiD's design with some modifications

I don't have lusid plans in front of me... so I'm not sure of the gap you have referenced. I've attached a simple pic that shows how the cp and glass are mounted on my cabinet... it is a pretty common method for uprights...

Just curious, but what are you using for the area I marked with the question marks?

I believe you are pointing to the edge of the cabinet.. The glass just rests on the bezel and there is about a 1 inch reveal of cabinet wall from the glass to the t-mould....
Does that make sense?

Actually there is no gap on mine... You see, the bezel continues and goes below the grade of the control panel...
I've attached some pics... the first one shows what I mean by the bezel continuing on out of sight and the second shows how it looks from the gamer perspective. These pics don't have the glass in (obviously)
BTW: That pic you have posted of GT... that is somewhat of a unique breed... Markvp is actually building one from scratch and so far it is impeccable... If you are particular about that metal trim-strip... pick his brain... he may have come up with a home grown solution for it.

Another question. What the best way to round off corners for the side panels and control panel?

I cut all my sides, and control panel with a router... I created templates for the side and control panel top out of masonite... using the template method generates perfect cuts.
