I have the TOSEC Amiga Rom set and I am ready to run headkaze's "UAEConfiguration" tool.
It seems I need to have a three UAE files to use as input to this UAEconfiguration tool. One UAE file will be used to generate the Amiga500 files, another one will be used to generate the Amiga1200-AGA files and the third will be used to generate the AmigaCD32 files.
Questions:
1) Will someone please post (or email me) these three files which I need to use?
I am not sure which of the many kickstart Roms to use to make these three files to allow the 500, AGA and CD32 games to work properly.
2) Also, it seems WinUAE will load an Amiga500 game since this is the default setting in WinUAE, however, the games seem to be controlled by the mouse rather than the keyboard. What do I need to do to get the keyboard mappings correct so I can start the emulator from the command line and be able to play the games via the keyboard.
NOTE: I can open the WinUAE application directly and go into "Game and I/O Ports" and set "Port 0" and "Port 1" to use keyboard settings rather than mouse settings, but there is no way to "save" these settings, so when I start a game from the command line (instead of from within the WinUAE tool) then the mouse is still the default controller rather than the keyboard.
3) I am currently using WinXP(SP2) and believe I should start a WinUAE game with the following command line input .... is this correct:
winuae -f "C:\RomFiles\Amiga\[gamename.UAE]
My email is emailAddrRemoved.
