is there any reason why speaker shelf is 24" x 26"?
surely you wouldn't need that big shelf to mount speaker on...

I wondered that myself. Not sure why it needs to be so deep. Seems like it could be about 10 inches deep and that would be fine.

Good question - I'll only speculate it's to prevent the marquee light from bleeding down around your screen or out the back of the cab.
