No, replay is a magazine for arcade and route operators...

BTW, unless you want an EM pinball, 1 grand won't get you anthing, unless you find a local seller...  or some times Ebay...

Try the Mr Pinball classifieds.  You can also get a much better machine for a grand if you are able to work on it yourself.

Ebay is always a good place to look, if the machine is in your area.

Ebay is a terrible, ---smurfy--- place to get a pin.

Royal Rumble for 850... THAT is a good deal, I would pay that myself.  I want a Royal Rumble.

Ebay might be a bad place to buy a pin, but it's a good place to find local sellers. Best to just contact them and ask if they have anything else for sale and then go take a look at it personally.

There are usually better local sources, you just have to find them.  Try rec.games.pinball, ask about local pinball groups in your area.  Most of the better pin collector groups will have little to nothing to do with Ebay outside of the last resort.  And most local pinball groups tend to be fairly closed and offer the best deals/machines among themselves so it would be best to try and get in.

Of course, at those prices, they could be a long way from actually working.  I would be surprised if they're 100%.

Fish Tales.  It might cost you a little over a grand (somewhere between $900-$1500) but it's a good pin.

You'd be suprised what some peoples definition of good working condition is when it comes to selling a pinball.

Ehhhh.... he said "around $1000".   ;)

Another bit of advice..... make sure you play the pinball machine that you're thinking about getting.  Play it a lot.  And play all of the other ones in the same price range.  Don't just buy one because people on a message board say it's a good one.  Make sure it's the one that you want to play for years and years.

It's good advice, and if you find a certain one you decide on, READ UP.  Ask on rec.games.pinball about it, so you can know what to look out for as potential failure points.  A few hours of reading can educate you enough to make a far better decision on the 'condition' of a pin.

A well shopped pin will stand up to home use very well, usually.
