build your own speaker question?
« on: July 06, 2005, 08:54:58 am »
tried a search.
getting a error.
i have a virus scan going, email scan going, transferring CD to mp3, and internet all at once. dial up. probably why no search available.

I was driving to my lake home this past weekend. I saw a house that is up for sale and the owners were tossing away some nice stuff. I stopped and picked up a coffee table and 2 end tables. I got to the lake and found a $800.00 J.C. Pennies credit card in the end table. I took it right back to them.
they gave me a VERY nice stereo. 5 CD player, equalizer, amp, turn table, dual tape deck, receiver, and stand. the Storm works. The owners kept the speakers.
How bad will this system sound if I bought some car speakers from Wal Mart and made a box for them?

I am not much into music. My family is . is a car set up that much differant from a home unit?

If they are 4 OHM speakers you can wire them to be 8, 4, or 2 OHM.
