Animated Avitars?
« on: August 19, 2005, 02:35:14 pm »
Hey there.

How could I get an animated avatar working?  I uploaded an animated gif, but all I get is the first frame.  :(
Bitten by the cabinet bug... obsessing ever since.

Yeah, I uploaded it to this site, in the avitar section.

I kinda thought that you'd have to have the image hosted somewhere on the net, instead of just uploaded, but I just wanted to make sure.  ;D

-EDIT-

Yes.  If the animated image is hosted on the web, it animates fine.  If you upload an animated image to the forum in the avitar section, no animating.

If the image is larger than 80x80, the forum software will resize it and you'll lose the animation.  If you upload an animation that's 80x80 or smaller, it should work.
