WTB: Black carriage bolts
« on: June 19, 2005, 04:31:26 pm »
Hello,

This may seem like an odd request, but the hardware store I looked at for carriage bolts didn't
have a huge selection and I didn't want to use the giant silver headed carriage bolts.

I am in need of mounting hardware for a total of four joysticks and I would prefer black bolts.

Thanks,
-Dweebs

I'm also looking for carriage bolts, that are small and black. Anyone have any, PM me...we'll work something out.  :)

And black paint doesn't work? ::)

I tried that first and the black paint quickly scratched off, and silver didnt go w/ my CP, and Im guessing it doesnt match the others.

arcadeemulator.net (retroblast affiliate) has them and I guess I got lucky cuz their ebay is the infamous KIDSPLAYTHINGS but they shipped fairly quickly and efficiently

If you're gonna paint them, you should primer them first.

If you're gonna paint them, you should primer them first.

Unless... you use Tremclad anti-rust black Satin, and you put on many thin layers (waiting for each layer to dry completely)
NO MORE!!
