Cocktail - How High ?
« on: December 12, 2002, 06:05:58 am »
I'm building a cocktail cabinet and I want to know how high to make it.

I know it's up to me, but I'd be interested to hear how high others have made theirs.

Both top to bottom and bottom to control panel height would be useful.

Thanks,

Sam66

I think you should go with two joints... anything more than that and you really shouldn't be using power tools...

have you looked at some of the plans in the example section of this site?

I built an upright, so I can't be of much help, other than that link and the poor humor/pun...

good luck,

YOu might want to try this site! http://pacfan69.tripod.com/cabinets/id5.html

Bob was pretty helpful when I was making mine, I kinda based my cabinet off of his and tweaked a few things here and there.  I'm not completly done with mine, but I could put some pictures of what I have going so far?

Check the main page of the site. There's a new project called MMP Starcab. Dig around in there. You'll find 6. Also see Jelloslugs Site. There are others too.

And of course.... My Site.
planetjay.com. Still in Chicago. Still no hurricanes!

Thanks for the replies guys : )

Guess I was just being lazy and not looking for myself.

Anyway for anyone else who's interested, heights seem to vary between 28" and 33" with an average of 29".
