Just happened upon these  Amplified Bay Speakers and thought someone here might find them interesting - bet they would be realatively easy to hack and save you a plug in your cab...

Anyone use them before?

Dont bother, just plug in some headphones and put them in a mug - will have the same resonant boxy sound.

Don't bother.

I've been down this road before and ended up using USB powered speakers instead.
