About a year ago or so someone was getting together orders for little vinyl sitckers that could be used to stick on buttons. Are those still around?

I'm putting a dedicated quit button on my new CP and having this button labeled would be a good thing.

There's inkjet material, that you can buy for making stickers.
There's white and clear. you can print on the stuff, cut it to shape, peel the adhesive and stick it to where you need...use the clear to print on, then stick another layer of clear over top so the print won't wear away...I haven't used it on a CP button, but I have used it for other applications, and it worked well...
Maybe it could be used for the stickers on yout buttons...

I tried doing this with clear Avery label stock, but the material made wrinkles when it tried to follow the concave shape of the button. Any suggestions on how to make this stick down in the button flat?

I think I still have some of those. Someone requested them but I cut more than I needed. No one else asked for them so they are still in the box I think?

Now that this comes up. I can definitely do a third run of these since I'll be at the sign shop for a week in July anyway. It was a lot easier not weeding them last time

I work at a sign shop too and can cut some of these no problem (thanks to Nannuu for the ai file!). If anyone wants a set (or something else that's small) drop me a PM, I'll gladly send out some to people that mail me an SAE (stamped addressed envelope). I'm not going to weed them though- you'll have to follow Nannuu's instructions there.
I'll cut it from 3M matte white with the clear plastic backing film unless anyone wants another color.

I can wrap text around buttons pretty easily too if anyone wants some...

I might cut some of these too. I really like it on my truck. But I would have to charge due to the size, weeding and mask. Any interest in these? Someone was selling them in BST a while back. Pixel was nice enough to share the file.

I'll throw in a few 'wrap-around-button' text labels too- like the 'PLAYER 1 START' one in the photo above. I'll use the standard helvetica font for these, since it's the easiest font to weed when the text is this small. I'll see how well the Robotron font weeds too.
Obvious labels are the player start and exit buttons. Any other requests? Shout them out now while there's still room.

Thats for exiting the game - according to Nannuu its the milkman running out the backdoor b/c Mr. Schwarzaneggar (sp?) came home early

Not entirely sure, but I know that some of the PC speaker sets, such as the Creative set that Ive used and I kno Kevin used in the mameframe II has a remote w/ a headphone jack

The others Im not entirely sure on though

No, it's a Radioshack momentary contact pushbutton.

Most Radioshacks have them and they're pretty good for admin buttons.

I was just about to ask in my own thread if there was anyone that printed letters on buttons. I want to have "exit" on a button instead of printing it on my CP art in case I decide to change the button later I dont want it forever stuck on the cp panel.

Hey Joy and Nannuu,

I also have a printer plotter at my house since I do a lot of automotive vinyl. So if the workload is to much or you need a maryland contact just let me know. I have more than 40 different colors including chrome. However, chrome would take a little more time on the concaves being that it doesnt like to flex. In either event PM if you need anything.

Exactly, I didn't have a use for these before. They would be really useful though with the trans buttons since you can't get them in P1/P2 start.

They should. The image above shows everything in black, but I'll be cutting everything from matte white vinyl as well as matte black (let me know if you want black or white when you mail me the SASE).

Sorry if it's a little unclear. I'll be sending out the button stickers to everyone that sends me a self addressed stamped envelope (standard letter size). ~~PM me for the mailing address to send it~~.
I'll be mailing out the stickers cut on a sheet of vinyl (black or white), when you get the stickers, you'll have to weed them out and use scotch-tape to apply them (as Nannu's instruction show).

Nannu is also sending out button stickers, but is also doing the BYOAC 'Atomic' decal (see page 1 of this thread).

Edit: I've hit my limit, so please PM Conseit68 for details of where to mail your SASE.

Just a quick update, I haven't had the chance to finish putting the stickers file together and have them cut, and I probably won't be able to get around to it this week (crazy busy at work and wedding season has officially hit, so I don't have much time to do anything).

I just got back from vacation and got nothing cut at all. Last time the small buttons stickers gobbed up the cutter so I was not allowed to cut any this year. And I didn't get the Atomic logo before I left for vacation so I didn't get those done either. I'll be refering all of the Atomic PMs to conseit68's BST thread.

Here's an update- I got the last batch of white-only stickers in the mail today. I ran out of the nice plastic-backed vinyl, so some of you will be getting paper-backed sets, sorry.
I still have to cut black sets for about 8 more people, fingers crossed I'll get them out this week sometime

I haven't been able to cut the black sets (due to a promotion I no longer have easy access to the vinyl plotter) and the everyone's envelope that requested black is sitting somewhere in an unpacked box in my new house. Sorry this got messed up, but so much has happened since I put out the offer. When I do find the envelopes I'll send them out as they are (they've got white sets only)

I can't speak for everyone, but from my point of view, I can't complain about a free offer.

You made a generous offer. Even if I never see my envelope again, I'm out a stamp... no biggie. It was a nice offer, but don't go out of your way on my account. A promotion and a move seems much more important than some stickers
