Cost is going to vary from one SF3 title to another. For instance Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper is a NAOMI GD-ROM game and the hardware is very pricy. The rest of the Street Fighter 3 titles if I remember correctly are CPS II hardware and is a combination of A+B boards.  If you are looking for "upper" it is pretty uncommon and fetches a high $ ammount; somewhere in the 1K range The other SF3 titles you should be able to pick up a cab at an auction for the $500 range.

Hope this helps

A search on ebay completed listings show that they havent sold many recently.  There was a complete cab in Wisconsin that didnt go for 399.00.  I belive it was First Strike or whatever the initial release of SF3 was called.

CPS2 = SFA, SFA2,SFA3
Naomi = SFZ3^
CPS3 = SF3.1, SF3.2, SF3.3

3rd Strike will cost about $350 + shipping for a Japanese kit, but please note that CPS3 suicide batterys are alot harder to swap than a CPS2 as you have to do CPS3 battery swaps with the game switched on & running !

Unfortunally no real progress.  Last weekend I finally found a store that stocks the kyrlon fusion paint color I wanted. How is your Namco Cyber Lead working out?  Get any other msgs to display on the LED?

sorry didnt see that post before - FYI CPS3 is JAMMA PCB motherboard, cartridge and a SCSI CD drive, the suicide battery is inside the cartridge.

the Cyberlead is cool, I've cycled through the messages, but I cant re-program them as the thing that is used is similar to the ones you would use on the scrolling LED msg boards you see in shop windows, its pretty hard to find parts for these things as it is, the guy who originally sold the cab to Vib_ribbon doesnt have any idea about it either or where to get the device.

besides the cp surround and monitor surround needing some priming and paint to hide a few cigarette burns all i have had to do is re-connect the CP buttons and sticks to the JVS board, replace buttons and sticks (yet more seimitsus
